About
Creative Technologist · Immersive & Data-Visualisation Practitioner · Founder — London, United Kingdom
Olawale (Ola) Okunrinboye is a London-based creative technologist whose practice spans data visualisation, immersive technology and creative computing. He works at the meeting point of art, culture and emerging technology — building interactive installations, digital storytelling projects and community-facing programmes that use technology as a tool to keep culture alive, visible and accessible.
His central creative conviction is that African art and heritage risk being left behind in the digital space, and that immersive and interactive tools — from generative art to VR/AR — can restore their reach and value on the world stage. This belief, shaped by his MA in Creative Computing, runs through both his cultural projects and his education work with young people.

Statement of practice
Across education, exhibition-making and product development, my work returns to a single aim: using technology to make culture — particularly African art and heritage — seen, felt and shared. I combine hands-on technical skill with a community-first approach, and I'm committed to creating opportunities for early-career artists and young people to work with immersive and digital tools.
